The Add function can be found in the Password menu. This function adds a new password to the password list.
When clicking the Add function, the New password dialog box is displayed. The New password dialog box has the following tabs:
General
Enter a description for the new password in the Description field. The description is the name that will be displayed in the Passwords - My passwords window.
Enter the password in the Enter Password field and then retype it in the Re-enter Password field. If you want to generate a Random Password, click the Generate Random Password button. After you have generated your password, the Enter Password and Re-enter Password fields will be automatically completed with the newly generated password. The Show password box hides/shows the password.
If you want the password to have an expiry date, make sure that the Expiry date check box is checked and select an expiry date. If your password has no expiry date, then make sure that the Expiry date check box is not checked.
Choose an importance level for your password from the Password importance radio buttons group. The importance level of your password will help you to later identify which passwords are vital and which are not.
Enter the user name for the new password in the User Name field.
Enter the URL address of the new password in the URL field. If your URL contains the password and/or user name, use the Insert button to add the password and/or user name to the URL in the URL field. When opening the page the corresponding password and/or user name are inserted automatically.
Choose an Auto complete sequence from the list. If none of the existing sequences matches, click the Select button to open the auto-complete sequences dialog box, where you can define your own auto complete sequence.
You can add any further comments to the new password in the Comments field.
If you wish to store an item without password, check the No password info check box.

Here you can enter TANs belonging to your password. For example, if you store your bank details in Password Depot you can type in the TANs which you received by your bank for certain transactions.
Enter your TAN into the field below and click Add. That way you can enter as many TANs as you like.
By clicking the Mark as used or Mark as unused buttons you can define the status of the TANs. That way you can easily find out which TANs are still available.
If you click the OK button and if the information you entered is correct, the new password will be added to your password list. Notice that the new password will be stored in the currently active group (the group displayed in the Passwords - My passwords window).
