Generate random password

The Generate random password action can be accessed from the New password dialog box and from the Modify password dialog box.

The Password Generator is a powerful real-random generator.

To generate a random password, proceed as follows:

1. Click the Add symbol on the tool bar to open the New password window.

2. Click the Generate random password button.

3. Select the maximum number of characters for the password.

4. Choose which characters to generate (lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, special characters, or all characters - from ASCII #1 to ASCII #255).

5. In order to generate a random password, move the mouse pointer to the gray box. To generate a new password, click the Cancel button and start over again.

6. If you are satisfied with the password you have generated, click OK. The password will be entered in the Password and Re-enter password fields.
