The New list function can be found in the File menu. This function creates a new password list that initially contains no passwords and no groups.
Whenever you choose to create a new password list, if the current list suffered any changes, you will be asked whether you want to save it or not.
After you made that choice, the New Password list window will be displayed. Here, enter the List Access Key of the new list, the name of the list and a short description for the new list. Finally, you are asked to retype the List Access Key.
Hint for List Access Key: Enter a helpful hint for the List Access Key. This hint can be displayed if you have forgotten your password.
WARNING: If you forget your List Access Key and your hint is not helpful, it is NOT POSSIBLE to access the passwords in the selected password list again. Therefore, you should use a password that you can easily remember.
The List Access Key is case-sensitive.
The name of the list is the name of the new "psw" file that will contain the password list. The list description will help you to identify this list each time you open it.
New lists files are created in the Passwords Directory. The Passwords Directory can be set from the Options dialog box.
IMPORTANT: Be careful with the quality of the List Access Key! A good password should contain at least eight characters, as well as numbers, letters and special characters. The quality indicator below the entry field Enter List Access Key indicates how secure your password really is.
