Data protection

AceBIT collects and uses your personal data exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the data protection law of the Federal Republic of Germany and the purposes set out below. You can access this information at any time on our website.

General data transfer and logging for Internet retrieval

If your internet browser automatically transmits data such as date and time of access, URL of the referring website, retrieved file, amount of data sent, browser type and version, operating system and your IP address when accessing our website, this data will be separated from other data that you may have left to AceBIT. These data are evaluated for statistical purposes and then deleted immediately.

Inventory and usage data

If a contractual relationship between you and AceBIT is justified, content is designed or changed, AceBIT collects and uses your personal data to establish the contract. On the instructions of the competent authorities, we may provide information about this data (inventory data) in individual cases, as far as this is necessary for law enforcement purposes, security, fulfillment of the statutory duties of the constitutional protection authorities or the Military Shielding Service or for the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

AceBIT will continue to collect and use personal information from you to the extent necessary to enable or account for the use of its website (usage data). This includes in particular features for your identification and information about the beginning and end as well as the extent of the use of our offer. For purposes of advertising, market research and the needs-based design of our website, we may create usage profiles when using pseudonyms. You have the right to object to this use of your data. We must not combine the usage profiles with data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

Cookies

To exhaust the functionality of its website, AceBIT uses so-called "cookies", which are used to save data on your computer when accessing our website. You can prevent the storage of cookies on your PC by making the appropriate settings in your web browser. Precise instructions can usually be found via the help function in the menu bar of your web browser.

Forwarding Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the features of this website to the fullest extent possible. You may also collect the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en). In view of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()" and therefore IP addresses are only shortened processed in order to exclude a direct personal reference.

Right to information, objection and cancellation

As a user of our website, you have the right to request information about the data stored about you or your pseudonym. At your request, the information can also be issued electronically. Furthermore, you have the option of requesting the deletion of data that is not required for the execution of the contract, or objecting to the corresponding use of data, as far as you have previously agreed to this (eg when ordering the AceBIT newsletter).
